I'm a psychologically-minded coach, a commercially tuned-in business founder and management consultant, and by nature a maker who enjoys imagining and building things. I have an eye for big patterns and telling details, and hold hope for a better future and curiosity about how that might come about. I believe that listening is a super-power which can transform people and situations. I’m known for my enthusiasm, judgement of people and situations, and my ability to connect with and facilitate the development of smart individuals and diverse teams who find themselves in challenging and complex environments.

I work with individuals and groups to build leadership capability, develop teams, strengthen key relationships, and bring strategic change to life through people. I'm accredited as a Master Coach with APECS and am an experienced experiential learning designer and facilitator. I've recently explored the secret life of boards through researching and co-authoring The Art and Psychology of Board Relationships for Routledge.

I have a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University and one in Psychology from the Open University. I am qualified to use a wide range of psychometric tools. I have a Certificate in Psychotherapy & Counselling from Regents University, and a Foundation in Group Analysis from the Institute of Group Analysis where I am currently studying for a Diploma in Reflective Practice in Organisations.

I began my career as a systems integrator with Accenture, where I found that getting the technology right was the simple part – making systems useful and valuable was far harder. I moved into change management of large scale programmes in the public and telecoms sectors, with an increasing focus on people and performance. This led me to head up SHL’s competency design practice group for several years, and then run the assessment division of boutique leadership consultancy The Thinking Partnership.  I’m now a Partner of HCubed which I co-founded in 2010, a volunteer at mental health charity The Listening Place, and a Trustee at digital-first charity Mental Health Innovations.
